The Sentiero Valtellina cycle track is both for cyclists and pedestrians and passes through the valley floor of the region. Nearly 100 km to find out a new Valtellina with its little villages and main resorts.
The path offers also many chances to discover our mountains, woods and vineyards, mountain pastures and alpine refuges or to visit the most important historical centers of the valley such as Morbegno, Sondrio and Tirano.
The cycle track winds near the railway and the train could be an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the area. The line departs from the Milano Centrale station and arrives in Colico, the ideal starting point, and then you can reach the city of Morbegno, home of the “Bitto” cheese, the village of Arednno with its vineyards, Sondrio the largest city of the area and from there to Grosio where the landscape is typically alpine.
