Regarding the Winter Olympics and our talented Arianna Fontana, silver and bronze medalist! Arianna started her training on the Ice in Bormio. Since it has been an Olympic discipline Short Track (1988) Ice Bormio has always been present in the Games with athletes, managers, coaches and trainers.
Even after a day of skiing you can prolong the fun exercising your legs on the ice rink.
The ice rink in Bormio meets the needs of sports groups of Short Track Speed Skating , Ice Hockey and Curling and at the same time guarantees fun for the not professional skaters (friends, families, young and old) thanks also to the music system and disco lights effect .
The structure, which has often been the scene of important events of Short Track Speed Skating at National and International level, includes a skating rink approved FISG which is artificially cooled , has four locker rooms with showers and a Coffee break room where you can rest and refuel your muscles before returning to the track.
Meanwhile, I have enrolled my daughter in the course of goodwill at skating ... you never know, tomorrow I might see her at the Olympics!
The Ice Palace in Bormio is in Via Manzoni, open nine months a year from July to March, from the 7 January, the following times are:
