Easter is a religious and traditional festivity. In Bormio Easter means the parade of many wooden floats called "Pasquali" and carried by children, young and old people on their shoulders. Hundreds of people wear typical and traditional costumes.
Carriages, horses and carts together with people are the real protagonists of the "Pasquali". The entire population of the mountain village contributes to the success of the event: someone economically some others manually. The "pasquali" is also a competition; it is a challenge between the five districts of Bormio. So Happy Easter to everybody and may the best win.
